Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Management: Receive and review incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Payment Processing: Enter invoice data into the accounting system for payment processing, preparing and scheduling payments through various methods.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, reconciling them with the general ledger.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and inquiries.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with key vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Expense Reporting: Process employee expense reports, ensuring receipts and documentation are complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate accounts payable reports and assist in analyzing data to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry; excellent organizational and time management skills; good communication and interpersonal skills for vendor interaction.
