Position Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that pharmaceutical products are produced in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting and verifying production activities in batch records, logbooks, and controlled forms.
  • Executing essential tasks in an aseptic filling environment, which encompass:
    • Maintaining cleanliness in cGMP areas.
    • Conducting line changeovers and parts preparation.
    • Performing filter integrity testing.
    • Operating parts washers and autoclaves.
    • Loading and unloading trays.
    • Managing the filling isolator and troubleshooting equipment alarms.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with 2 years of manufacturing experience; experience in pharmaceuticals or mechanical fields is preferred.
  • An Associate's degree with 1 year of manufacturing experience is acceptable.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though no manufacturing experience is necessary.
  • Basic math skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities are essential.
  • Capability to adhere to SOPs is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a clean-room environment, which is controlled for temperature and humidity with low ambient noise.
  • Compliance with gowning requirements, including gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses, with no makeup or jewelry.
  • Understanding of chemical hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Occasional lifting and manipulation of up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment, including tasks that require gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to navigate office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods; manipulation of light to medium weights (10-35 pounds).
