NDE Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled NDE Technician - Level II to join our team at Turner Industries. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive inspections of materials, parts, components, and pressurized systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the integrity and safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct NDT inspections using various methods, including VT, UTT, and PT.
• Interpret and report results of inspections, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Support Level III inspectors in complex inspection tasks.
• Instruct and supervise trainees in NDT techniques.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• UTT-II and PT-II certifications.
• Relevant certifications and experience in NDE.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• TWIC card.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Physical Demands:

• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, and structures.
• Maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, and structures.
• Reaching, handling, and manipulating objects and materials.
• Coordinating eye, hand, and finger movements to operate tools and equipment.
• Lifting 30-50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and overhead.
• Carrying objects, tools, and equipment.
• Standing, sitting, walking, seeing, hearing, and following directions.
