Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a prominent non-profit organization seeking to enhance their team in the Jacksonville area by hiring a Billing and Collections Specialist.

Compensation Range: $44,000 - $47,000 annually

Role Summary:

The Billing and Collections Specialist will support the Finance and Grant Accounting Director in managing the preparation of various grants at the federal, state, and local levels. This role is crucial in ensuring that all necessary documentation and invoices are completed promptly.

  • Utilize diverse Excel spreadsheets to pinpoint required backup documentation for each billing invoice.
  • Scrutinize invoices and accompanying documentation for each grantor billing to facilitate the assembly of grantor invoice packets.
  • Keep informed about updates in general grant regulations and specific grants by participating in seminars and conferences, as well as reviewing available literature.
  • Address billing and compliance concerns with the relevant parties for necessary corrective measures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in a non-profit setting and/or familiarity with grants is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines effectively.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities to achieve objectives.

Compensation Details: $440,000.00 to $470,000.00 per year.
