We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Director to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing goals and overseeing the implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement patient-centered food services strategies to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
- Lead and manage a team of patient service staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special diets.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Service Technology/Management or related field, or Associate degree with relevant work experience.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
