Position Overview

The Bilingual Customer Support Specialist serves as a key point of contact for credit union members, delivering exceptional service through both inbound and outbound communication channels. This role involves efficiently managing member inquiries and requests while ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and prioritize incoming calls from credit union members, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while adhering to established service protocols.
  • Verify caller identities in accordance with security guidelines, demonstrating proficiency in navigating credit union systems.
  • Provide comprehensive education to members regarding their accounts, services, and any issues they may encounter.
  • Engage in both inbound and outbound member service activities, including necessary follow-up communications.
  • Gain familiarity with standard credit union operations and terminology.
  • Acquire knowledge of CU*BASE Loan Application Processing to assist members effectively.
  • Offer daily support for web chat inquiries related to credit union and third-party accounts.
  • Assist with electronic Bill Pay Systems as required.
  • Monitor and manage all voice and email communication channels to ensure member requests are addressed promptly.
  • Specialize in CU*BASE and It'sMe247 applications, including mobile and online tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; candidates actively pursuing their diploma are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.

Work Environment

Xtend Inc operates in a professional office environment. Some roles may involve moderate to extensive travel, as outlined in the responsibilities and qualifications.
