Insurance Claims Specialist

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Outstanding Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our accounts receivable team, you will be responsible for effectively managing the claims process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process claims accurately and efficiently to ensure timely payment.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns regarding claim status in a clear and courteous manner.
- Conduct follow-up and submit reimbursement appeals for unpaid and/or inappropriately paid claims.
- Identify and research billing errors and corrections, and coordinate resolutions between parties.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university, or three to five years of related experience and/or training.
- Previous high-volume collections experience with PPOs, Worker's Comp, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook suite of products.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
