Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join our team at House of Blues. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our payroll team and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll tax processing.
  • Responsible for researching and resolving payroll tax issues, including federal, state, and local tax notices.
  • Assist with the review and reconciliation of payroll tax returns, including W-2s and 1099s.
  • Collaborate with our tax team to ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our employees and management team.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll tax, preferably in a large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with multiple spreadsheets and workbooks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
