Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time On-Site Service Representative to join our team in Danville, VA. As a key member of our On-Site Services team, you will be responsible for managing customer inventory, providing exceptional customer service, and driving account growth through our KeepStock program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service multiple customer locations
  • Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations, ensuring product stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted
  • Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty
  • Follow designated routes defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time
  • Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided
  • Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs
  • Probe for customer needs during each site visit and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a selling or service environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/or work in difficult positions
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle different technical and operational issues
  • Valid driver's license in the State of residence
  • Required levels of automobile insurance
