About the Role

The RN Manager will lead a team of 57 FTEs on the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) with four Clinical Nurse Supervisors, and 16 FTEs in Central Telemetry Monitoring Systems (CTMS) with one Lead. This role assumes 24-hour accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the nursing services/unit of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Develops policies, procedures, and processes in coordination with other leaders to ensure the highest quality services are always provided to all customers.

Assures presence of a supportive and healthy work environment that promotes retention and embraces diversity.

Unit-based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement, supports a culture of safety and maintenance of interprofessional collaborative relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.

Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field Preferred.

5+ years of clinical nursing (cardiac care, progressive care, or telemetry) experience Required.

2+ years of formal leadership/supervisory experience Required.
