Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Central Missouri Home Health, a part of LHC Group. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our Executive Director/Clinical Director and Business Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine clerical/office tasks, including filing, shredding, and data entry
• Process workflow tasks as assigned
• Answer telephone calls, record messages, and deliver messages
• Create patient Admit/ROC/Recert packets as needed
• Pull, review, and follow up on reports of orders recert and unverified visits
• Assist in the referral to admission process as needed
• Respond timely to all communication
• Maintain an up-to-date medical record by scanning documents timely and completing EOE audits as appropriate
• Complete Discharge chart reviews, perform Medicare Claims Audit and EOE for non-Medicare clients
• Review and process workflow as appropriate and assigned
• Process orders to/from physician and tracks for timely receipt
• Communicate professionally within the organization and with external sources
• Perform scheduler duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Computer skills, clerical-business machine skills, telephone communication skills, and typing ability
• General clerical skills and organizational skills
