Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator
Job Summary: Great River Engineering is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to provide on-site representation support on projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and civil engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans, details, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Provide accurate and thorough daily inspection reports and photo documentation.
- Perform field materials sampling and testing.
- Review and approve contractor's application for payment and change orders.
- Check layout and dimensions of work.
Work Environment: The Construction Project Coordinator will work in a construction job site environment, with occasional office work. Travel is expected within a four-hour radius of Jefferson City.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Familiarity with construction principles and/or civil engineering processes
Preferred Requirements:
- MoDOT Technician Certification or similar
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Experience with land surveying practices
