Position Summary:


This role is pivotal in supporting and coordinating the functions of the clinic's revenue cycle, encompassing charge capture, coding, and management of edits/denials. The position entails providing strategic recommendations to enhance resource utilization while aligning with top-tier performance metrics across various revenue cycle categories, including productivity, compliance, accuracy, effectiveness, timeliness, and efficiency.


The individual in this role will be accountable for achieving and surpassing operational workflow, productivity, and results standards pertinent to these functions.


Additionally, this position will coordinate and align resources dedicated to revenue cycle functions across clinical specialties, aiming to establish consistent workflows and optimize resource allocation.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, assigning tasks, delivering performance feedback, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Oversee daily revenue cycle operations within the assigned clinical specialty and monitor relevant revenue cycle metrics for the area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:


A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with four (4) years of experience in revenue cycle management, ideally in physician billing, coding, or medical management; or a combination of equivalent education and experience; or successful completion of the TEC Operations Development Program (ODP).


Preferred Qualifications:

A coding certification from a nationally recognized organization (such as AAPC, AHIMA, etc.) is required: CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC-H; advanced understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, billing regulations, Medicare & NCCI guidelines, insurance coverage limitations, and managed care protocols is preferred; experience with GE Centricity Business is also preferred.

Successful completion of the AAPC ICD-10 Proficiency Assessment is required.
