Job Summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Representative III to join our team. This advanced position requires a deep understanding of revenue cycle processes and a strong ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all key functions of the physician billing revenue cycle, including billing, claims filing, data entry, and charge entry.
  • Perform advanced revenue cycle duties, such as denial management, payment posting, and credit balance management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare Fraud and Abuse.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve revenue cycle processes.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a physician billing revenue cycle or Central Business Office.
  • Advanced knowledge of third-party insurance, including HMO, PPO, POS, and Indemnity plans.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Medicare Program, including CPT and ICD9 coding.
  • Ability to counsel patients financially and resolve problems via exceptional customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Practice Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to run standard reports to answer questions from practice managers and physicians.
