At Aylo Health, the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the financial processes within our healthcare organization. Your primary focus will be to ensure efficient revenue cycle operations, maximizing revenue, minimizing financial risk, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team responsible for billing, coding, collections, medical records, credentialing/enrollment and overall revenue optimization strategies.

Essential Functions:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing revenue cycle team.
  • Direct and manage all aspects of revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, auditing, collections, and payment posting as well as medical records and credentialing/enrollment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as denial rates, days in accounts receivable, and collection rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance revenue cycle performance, improve cash flow, and reduce accounts receivable days.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of revenue cycle management within the organization and disseminate critical information as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement through new service opportunities, coding and billing optimization and identification of new fee-for-service billing codes applicable to the organization's practice areas.
  • Serve as the key liaison between Aylo's practice and its payer/network partners for all matters related to credentialing, enrollment and contract dispute resolution
  • Participate in contract negotiations with payers/network partners
  • Communicate consistently with senior management on revenue cycle metrics, trends, and outcomes.
  • Implement best practices and workflows to streamline revenue cycle processes and optimize revenue capture.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing guidelines, including HIPAA and CMS requirements.
  • Provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate and provide functional expertise in the implementation of technology solutions to support operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in revenue cycle management to drive innovation and improve financial outcomes.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with progressive responsibility and oversight of medium to large teams
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Experience managing remote and/or hybrid teams with emphasis on productivity metrics
  • Proficiency in using revenue cycle management software and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of achieving measurable results in revenue cycle performance improvement.
  • Preference: experience with risk-based contracts and value-based care arrangements.
