As the Product Owner for Consumer eCommerce, you will act as a key collaborator with our Marketing and Sales teams, driving initiatives aimed at achieving significant revenue growth while enhancing the consumer experience. This role presents an opportunity to tackle intricate business challenges and expand your professional skill set while supporting the development of others.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to identify, influence, and fulfill both immediate and long-term eCommerce solution requirements, crafting strategies to meet these needs.
2. Serve as the primary liaison for business leaders regarding overall BTS requirements for your functional area, responsible for managing and prioritizing demands.
3. Proactively discover opportunities where technology can unlock new business potential, enhance operational processes, or achieve cost savings.
4. Maintain an up-to-date eCommerce product roadmap by facilitating ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.
5. Make strategic decisions that influence the business unit or division, sharing authority over the IT budget and project initiatives.
6. Ensure adherence to relevant Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
7. Coordinate with Service Desk and both internal and external BTS support partners to deliver exceptional support for all applications and processes within the commercial business unit(s).
8. Oversee PMO and project management activities, including resource demand forecasting and business requirement documentation.
Essential Skills and Tools:
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to comprehend and contribute to the business unit's strategy, translating it into a cohesive portfolio of program roadmaps, projects, and applications. Foster innovation and change by encouraging creativity in others.
Strong Business Acumen:
In-depth understanding of the retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, and eCommerce sectors to effectively influence business decisions and address business needs.
Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud:
Recognized as a specialist in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), adept at implementing various consumer eCommerce platforms.
Project Management & Negotiation Skills:
Proficient in Agile project management with a strong ability to negotiate and manage project scope effectively.
