We are seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team at Kurz Solutions. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to patients of all ages and genders in the Taos-Picuris Community.

About the Facility
The Taos-Picuris Client Service Unit is a U.S. Public Health Service, Indian Health Service, and ambulatory healthcare facility accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC). Our state-of-the-art facility provides a wide range of services, including audiology, behavioral health, dental, health education, laboratory, medical, nursing, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, podiatry, public health nursing, and radiology.
About the Job
This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holidays, and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of medical services, including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and referral, to outpatients of all ages
- Serve on the Patient Centered Medical Home team
- Make referral recommendations to the Clinical Director as required
- Participate in treatment planning on a program basis and for individual patients
- Confer with clinical and administrative staff regularly to ensure timely and adequate communication of findings or concerns
- Regularly record patient contacts in the appropriate medical record
- Enter consults/referrals for other services as needed
- Work with outside facilities and their staff on cases requiring immediate care and possible ambulance transport
Requirements
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- Medical Diploma (MD or DO); Internship; ACGME approved residency program
- 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions
- Board Eligible or Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
