About the Role
This is a part-time position working 20 hours/week on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday. As a Nursing Quality Improvement Specialist, you will provide assessment and evaluation support to concurrent and retrospective quality and utilization in accordance with Federal PACE regulations, State of Oregon Administrative rules, and medical, administrative and program staffs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively work with physician leadership, directors and managers in the development and implementation of patient safety efforts.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis of patient safety events, including developing and tracking of action plan items.
  • Serve as a facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement.

Work Environment:
You will be working at Providence Office Park Portland Bldg 1-Portland in a collaborative environment with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year.
