Job Overview

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team in Portland, OR. This full-time position offers competitive pay, stable hours, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and document quality metrics such as product weight, temperature, and sensory evaluation.
  • Verify and calibrate equipment like scales and metal detectors.
  • Inspect manufacturing equipment to ensure cleaning and hygiene standards are met.
  • Perform routine checks on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Sanitation, and Operations teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
  • Manage non-conforming products and unauthorized instruments.
  • Verify labels, codes, and packaging accuracy during production.
  • Provide detailed reports and assist in root cause analysis for quality deviations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing facility is highly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to convey technical information in clear, understandable terms.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and maintain accurate records.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. occasionally and working in hot or cool conditions.
  • Strong attendance record and focus on deadlines.
