Associate Director Business Development

QPS, LLC is seeking an experienced Associate Director Business Development to promote our portfolio of Bioanalytical and Preclinical Lab Services within existing accounts and/or secure new accounts at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US region.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the sales process from lead generation through close, including prospecting, networking, cold-calling, meetings, making presentations, following up, and negotiating.
- Identify potential business prospects (leads) in the territory for Bioanalysis, DMPK, and Translational Medicine.
- Home-office based, supporting clients in the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US (ideal candidate will live in the Mid-Atlantic area and have established business relationships).
- Frequent travel (up to 50%) including client sites, QPS facilities, and industry meetings.
- Competitive base salary plus commission and car allowance.
- Bioanalysis of Proteins, mRNA, and Oligonucleotides, or pharmaceutical/biotech/bioanalytical preclinical lab services sales experience.
- > 5 years of bioanalysis or sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of and contacts within the Global Pharma/Biotech industry.
- Strong educational background in the Life Sciences needed.
