Role Description

We are in search of analysts to enhance our expanding global research team. The analyst division comprises five specialized groups: Oil and Gas, Renewable and Power, Commodity Markets, Energy Services, and Energy Transition.

Rystad Energy seeks motivated individuals with a solid academic background and a keen analytical mindset to meet the increasing demand for our research across these groups. Analysts are integral to our organization, responsible for maintaining our databases and generating reports utilized by clients worldwide.

As an analyst, you will collaborate closely with consultants, programmers, and sales and marketing teams to gather, analyze, and present our research findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, process, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance workflows for energy data collection and processing.
  • Create new forecasting models and methodologies for data analysis.
  • Contribute to and author client reports and commentaries.
  • Participate in both internal and external presentations.
  • Support sales and business development initiatives over time.
  • Engage with clients to showcase our research and analyses.
  • Travel as necessary for research, client engagement, and business development support.
Qualifications
  • Strong academic performance in relevant fields such as engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, or data science.
  • Interest in both technical and financial dimensions of the energy market.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • Outstanding capability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data from various sources.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in or direct experience within the energy sector.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
