Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Advertising (PPC) expert to manage paid search campaigns for e-commerce clients, including keyword, product shopping, PMAX, remarketing, and social media ads. The successful candidate will be strong analytically and technically, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in an ever-changing landscape. Experience with B2B, B2C, and content sites is strongly desirable since this role will be working with various types of businesses ranging from jewelry companies to software companies, and everything in between.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Keyword Research and Campaign Management: Perform proper keyword research and suggestions, build new campaigns, create ad copy, manage ongoing campaigns, and A/B test ads.
  2. Web Analytics and Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns. Ability to ask interesting questions of data and able to make data tell a compelling story. Understanding paid search bid optimization tools.
  3. Shopping Campaign Optimization: Understand and implement ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization. Perform negative keyword research and continually optimize ads. Shopping Campaign optimization including feed optimization, bidding, and structure. Must have working knowledge of data feeds.
  4. Holiday Campaign Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize holiday campaigns to maximize ROI.
  5. Case Study and Channel Analysis: Define and analyze relevant case studies, channel suggestions, competitor insights, prior potential client efforts, and other value points.
  6. Leadership and Problem-Solving: Take charge, be a resourceful leader, and have strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Website Development Knowledge: Understanding of website development is a plus.
  8. Subject-Matter-Expertise: Serve as the subject-matter-expert and own the Paid channel from business development through strategy and implementation. This mandates superior knowledge in Paid, social media, and other digital marketing channels.
  9. Research and Innovation: Ability to research new services as technology and requests change.
  10. Creative Problem-Solving: Creative thinker and paid search problem-solving with ability to strategize for many accounts. Must be able to work through strategies for varied client base (company size, budget, client resources, varying objectives, timelines, and more).
  11. Project Management: Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, especially during key seasonal periods.
  12. Client Budget and ROI Tracking: Track client budgets and ROI.
  13. Advanced Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, and Google Data Studio to build dashboards and presentation materials for executive level audiences.
  14. Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication skills - specifically with clients, prospects, partners, team members, and management. Strong presentation skills. Host discovery calls with potential marketing accounts and lead discussions regarding your diagnosis of the prospect's existing efforts and campaigns. Host calls with clients to discuss strategies, tactics, and results.
  15. Client Communication: Client communication through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  16. Competitive Landscape Research: Research of competitive paid search landscape.
  17. Client Expectation Management: Management of client expectations.
  18. Client Budget and Scope Management: Management of client budget and scope of work.
  19. Keyword List Generation: Generation of keyword lists including expansion of current paid search campaigns.
  20. Paid Search Ad Copy Creation: Creation and testing of paid search ad copy.
  21. PPC Account Maintenance and Reporting: PPC account maintenance and reporting.
  22. Paid Search Trend Analysis: Analysis of paid search trends through Google Analytics and PPC search engine reports.
  23. SEO Opportunity Identification: Identification of opportunities for constant improvement of SEO results. (Identification of new, creative paid search opportunities for client review.)
  24. Strategy Creation and Implementation: Creation, presentation, and implementation of new strategies through campaign analysis.
  25. Adaptability: Adapting to frequent SEM landscape changes.
  26. Day-to-Day Account Activities: Management of day-to-day account activities.
