The Opportunity

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional experience for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing venipuncture services and dispensary responsibilities
  • Maintaining high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Supporting patients beyond the lab room by answering messages, following up on lab cases and assisting providers with clerical duties
  • Using C-I-CARE principles in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience

You will be an ambassador for patients in office, with a mastery of human connection and a strong drive for service. You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a truly exceptional in-office patient experience.

This includes support for the office with a focus on active daily management, scheduling, inventory, and facilities support. You are the steward of the space and ensure the look and feel of the office lobby are on brand with the One Medical experience.

You will be the first point of contact for patient feedback, as well as provide any other support as requested by the Leads, Office Manager, or in-office providers. Our Flex Member Support Specialist/Lab Services Specialist supports multiple offices in a Market.

You are a strong team player and use your innovative problem-solving skills to tackle various tasks and challenges. You combine excellent specimen collection technique with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with your patients.

You have a strong grasp of verbal and written communication. You are able to identify opportunities and deliver on customer-centric solutions while using empathy, focus, and compassion in all interactions with patients and teammates.

You bring self-awareness to your daily work to utilize your strengths and develop your areas of opportunity. You thrive in cultures that focus on feedback and growth and are nimble in their approach to respond to the needs of the patients and team.

What We're Looking For
  • An active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet and using multiple software systems simultaneously

Competitive salary: $27.25 per hour based on a standard full-time schedule. Total compensation packages may be based on factors unique to particular candidates, such as skill sets, depth of experience, and work location.
