Medical Front Desk Coordinator

This position is based in an outpatient cancer facility, operating Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The successful candidate will float between local offices.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have knowledge of medical terminology.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Checking patients in upon arrival
- Answering and managing phone calls
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Recording and updating patient information
In addition to these duties, the ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with manual blood pressure readings, handle front desk operations, and utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
RequirementsThe following requirements must be met for this role:
- 1 year of experience in healthcare customer service
- Proficiency in medical assisting
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with patient care
The successful candidate will also possess basic life support (BLS) certification and experience with manual blood pressure readings.
Salary and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year. Additional benefits include eligibility for benefits three months after conversion and 10 paid holidays per year.
