Job Summary:

Diary Farmers of America Inc. is seeking a skilled Label Operator to join our team. As a Label Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper labels are being used on products being produced, maintaining the operating parameters of the labeler, and performing quality checks and maintaining documentation records tracking production efficiencies on labeler equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Perform quality checks and maintain documentation records to track production efficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure the proper labels are being used on products being produced to meet quality and regulatory standards.
* Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
* Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Production or general work experience preferred.
* Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment.

Preferred Skills:

* Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions effectively.
* Ability to effectively work in a team environment and communicate with colleagues.
* Ability to legibly write entries for record keeping and maintain accurate documentation.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
* Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
