About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Operations Specialist to join our team at E. & J. Gallo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging equipment and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Packaging Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate all assigned pieces of equipment, including un-caser, robotic de-palletizer, case packer, labeler, capsular, and palletizer.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Assist with change overs, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor and Report Production Metrics: Responsible for routine production reporting and quality checks, ensuring that all production goals are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments to ensure seamless production operations.
  • Meet Safety and Quality Standards: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity, and adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years' experience in wine production or manufacturing.
  • Physical Demands: Must be physically capable of executing job tasks within the bottling room or cellar operations, including repetitive lifting and uncase glass cases onto a conveyor belt.
  • Availability: Required to work any assigned shift, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Travel: May be required to travel to company offices, sites, or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.
