Job Title: Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the store, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Manage and train a team of retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily paperwork and financial reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with district managers to achieve business objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a convenience store or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to climb a 6-step ladder and perform tasks such as painting and cleaning.

Equipment:

  • Cash register and point-of-sale system.
  • Calculator and adding machine.
  • Computer and inventory management software.
  • Refrigerated units, freezers, and coffee equipment.
  • Air conditioning and heating units.
  • Pricing label gun.

Working Hours:

  • Required base minimal hours of work: six days.
  • Minimal required weekly hours: 45 hours.
  • Position is a salary-based role.
