Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of a leading international consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization. This position reports directly to the CEO of the US division and focuses on enhancing financial strategies for a rapidly expanding market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the tracking, recording, and analysis of customer rebates and billbacks for primary clients in the United States, developing a deep understanding of CPG performance metrics.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of proposed agreements for new client integrations, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of profitability through advanced business analytics.
  • Deliver monthly profitability insights to senior management, including Directors and C-Suite executives, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Establish a systematic monthly reporting framework to analyze variances between projected budgets and actual performance concerning customer profitability.
  • Engage in additional financial modeling and analysis related to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including logistics costs, pricing strategies, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams across the US and international headquarters to drive financial success.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance or FP&A experience within the CPG industry, ideally in food and beverage.
  • Experience in commercial finance with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with rapid decision-making processes.
