- Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Assist in identifying staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Assist in overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Provide support and guidance to HR staff, management, and other managers/supervisors when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Provide the necessary support to company HR and the leadership team of affiliates to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Business level English – read/write/speak/listen.
- Bilingual in Japanese (2nd choice) or Korean (1st choice) language.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Human Resource Management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and interact with staff regularly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
