Associate Director of Business Development

Canteen, a division of Compass Group North America, is seeking a highly motivated and sales-focused individual to join our team as an Associate Director of Business Development. This is an entry-level sales support role with the primary responsibility of supporting Regional Sales Directors in generating leads, developing prospects, and supporting special projects to win new business.
This position will be located in Birmingham, AL and will work under the supervision of the Sales RVP. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food service and business development, with excellent communication and presentation skills. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and targets across several verticals and lines of service, executing strategic prospecting strategies, and developing vertical growth approaches.
The Associate Director of Business Development will work closely with Regional Sales Directors to cultivate and close targeted accounts, research targeted accounts and prospective buyers to gain perspective on organizational business needs, and build trust with prospects by understanding industry and trending business challenges.
