Financial Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
This position will oversee the monthly close financial reporting and related analysis processes for Montefiore Faculty Practice Group (FPG), Montefiore Medical Group (MMG), Montefiore Einstein Advance Care (MEAC), Hudson River Medical Practice (HRMP), and Specialty Surgeons of Connecticut (SSCT).
The successful candidate will manage the preparation of all monthly financial reports and related analysis, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. They will also serve as a liaison with the FPG Administrative team, Clinical Unified Administrators, and Professional Billing service during the close process.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of two accountants responsible for Financial Reporting and Analysis
Review and address monthly deadlines timely
Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and other ad hoc projects
Work with multiple reporting tools, including Infor (G/L), STRATA (Financial and Budget Reporting), and SAPHCM (Payroll and HR reporting)
Requirements:
Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
CPA preferred; MBA helpful but not required
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Knowledge and experience with Infor, STRATA, EPIC (EPIC Cubes), SAPHCM, or other large automated accounting software systems preferred
