Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ADP Workforce Now HRIS to ensure precise data management, transaction processing, and report generation. Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining employee attendance records. Provide assistance to employees in utilizing the self-service portal for various HR transactions.
- Act as the main contact for all inquiries related to time management and attendance. Resolve payroll-related questions, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct full cycle recruitment, which includes sourcing and interviewing candidates for diverse roles. Build and maintain relationships with potential applicant sources, such as educational institutions and recruitment agencies. Formulate strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates to fulfill the organization's staffing requirements.
- Administer bi-weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees. This includes proactive communication with supervisors regarding attendance issues, maintaining precise attendance records, and promptly addressing any discrepancies. Collect and accurately input all payroll-related information, conducting thorough audits of payroll registers to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Additional Responsibilities: Embrace extra duties and projects as required to support the HR department and the overall objectives of the organization. Adapt to evolving priorities and assist in various HR functions to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the ADP Workforce Now HRIS is crucial for optimizing payroll processes and enhancing data management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is essential, with advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, being preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with employees across all organizational levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships, manage sensitive issues with discretion, and collaborate with diverse teams. A high level of integrity and ethical conduct is expected, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities to address HR challenges, develop effective solutions, and implement strategies successfully.
- Confident and assertive in managing HR matters, enforcing policies, and making informed decisions. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as necessary for meetings and industry events.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and equipment may be required.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is mandatory. HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are advantageous.
- 2-3 years of professional HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now, is highly desirable.
