About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Centralized Patient Access Representative II to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. As a key member of our Access Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and facilitating communication with their care team
  • Provide information and updates on a wide range of topics related to patient care
  • Work with patients to navigate their healthcare needs and provide support in a fast-paced environment
  • Use computer systems and access large volumes of information to complete complex tasks on behalf of patients, providers, and medical practice locations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of customer service experience or six months of meeting call center metrics as a Centralized Patient Access Representative I
  • Proficient computer skills operating multiple systems in a Windows-based environment
  • Two years of office, clerical, or call center experience, preferably in a medical setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, referrals/orders, and medical insurance
  • Electronic Medical Record experience, preferably EPIC
  • Familiarity with data entry and complex scheduling
