Position Overview

BCBA Clinic Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Clinic Supervisor plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of clinical services at Level Ahead's Decatur clinic. This position collaborates closely with the clinical operations manager to design curriculum, manage group assignments, and oversee both case and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Oversight:

  • Assist in the creation of clinic-specific curriculum and schedules for clients and staff.
  • Ensure staff adherence to clinical standards through Interobserver Agreements (IOAs), supervision, and performance evaluations.
  • Engage in training, coaching, and oversight of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and student analysts.
  • Maintain up-to-date client authorizations.
  • Support the development and implementation of social skills groups within the clinic.
  • Collaborate with HR to gather feedback from staff and clients, and devise strategies for improvement as necessary.
  • Work with administrative staff to address staffing, scheduling, and operational challenges.
  • Set goals and objectives aimed at achieving excellence in clinical service delivery.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and funding requirements related to service delivery and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports detailing the performance of key clinic functions.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and other necessary discussions to review clinical performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and documentation quality assurance. Address quality concerns, policy changes, and improvement recommendations.

Caseload Management:

  • Conduct behavioral and skill assessments.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans, including function-based behavior intervention strategies and skill acquisition programs.
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians in the execution of prescribed treatment plans.
  • Monitor ongoing ABA programs, making assessments and updates as required.
  • Ensure that electronic data accurately reflects client progress on the data collection platform.
  • Provide coaching and support on ABA strategies to parents and caregivers.
  • Coordinate treatment efforts with other professionals involved in the client's care.
  • Maintain a minimum of 30 billable hours per week.
Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Clinical Operations Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Active BCBA certification and applicable state licensure.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • At least 1-2 years of management or leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Experience with Central Reach is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with various programming assessments (e.g., VBMAPP, Socially Savvy, Peak, ABLLS/AFLS).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Level Ahead utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to assist children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in developing essential social and behavioral skills. Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one support to children in various settings under the guidance of Licensed Behavior Analysts.
