Site Construction Manager

Your Role:

We are seeking a qualified individual with a minimum of five years of relevant experience to take on the role of Site Construction Manager. This position requires expertise in overseeing daily construction operations on-site.

Qualifications for Success:
  • Proven experience as a Site Construction Manager with a General Contractor.
  • Familiarity with Vista and/or Procore software is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
  • Competence in preparing and reviewing technical specifications and engineering documents.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction practices and management principles.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting progress and making recommendations.
  • Proven ability to monitor projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling software, including Primavera SureTrak.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and occupational health standards.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on work when necessary.
  • OSHA 30 and QA/QC Training are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain company reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Communicate potential delays, changes, and disputes to clients and architects.
  • Implement safety measures on-site.
  • Manage contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of materials and labor.
  • Monitor and maintain project budgets and cost controls.
  • Organize the project site office and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain quality control and job site administration.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and collaborate with the Project Manager on projections.
  • Submit weekly labor reports and keep management informed of potential issues.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to see both close and at a distance.
  • Capability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of tools and materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely.
  • Comfortable climbing and maintaining balance on various structures.
