As an Operations Manager at RXO, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic oversight and guidance for our Transportation Management services. Your expertise will be essential in pinpointing areas for enhancement and efficiency, while also identifying growth opportunities. Your skills and experience will be vital in championing our corporate values, fostering an engaged workforce, ensuring customer loyalty, optimizing operations, and paving a successful path for both yourself and RXO.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing operational requirements and ensuring the successful execution of new strategies and initiatives to meet or surpass company standards and customer expectations.
  • Identifying and implementing a diverse range of customer initiatives through established protocols.
  • Formulating, executing, and monitoring corrective action plans aimed at minimizing risks and reducing process errors.
  • Creating and delivering standardized reporting and analytical tools to support Operations Management and Executive Management, utilizing various software such as Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial planning tools.
  • Analyzing substantial volumes of operational data and reporting on accuracy and trends.
  • Developing templates and deliverables for operations; identifying methods to assess performance against initial assumptions; and establishing controls and predictive indicators.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

At a minimum, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and time management skills.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Familiarity with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and statistical analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, with the capacity to effectively supervise, coach, and influence team members.
