Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of claims operations members, providing coaching and feedback to drive business results and process improvements.
- Develop and implement operational risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure consistent execution of processes.
- Monitor and review quality of claim files, providing feedback to employees and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support projects as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of progressive customer service, operational, military, or leadership experience, including a minimum of 2 years of claims handling experience.
- ~2 years of direct team lead, supervisory, or management experience.
- ~Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions.
- ~Demonstrated leadership, initiative, customer service, and/or claims handling skills.
- Current experience as a Claims Manager/Supervisor.
- ~2+ years of experience handling total loss claims.
- ~2+ years physical damage and/or auto injury claims experience.
- ~Strong experience coaching and developing claims adjusters to meet organizational and development/career path goals.
