Head of Claims Operations

USAA is seeking a highly skilled Claims Operations Manager to lead our Auto Claims organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of claims employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving process improvements to enhance our claims handling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of claims employees to achieve optimal productivity and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance claims handling efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational risks and compliance issues
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees to drive engagement and performance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 6+ years of progressive customer service, operational, military, or leadership experience, including 2+ years of claims handling experience
- ~2+ years of direct team lead, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong leadership, initiative, customer service, and claims handling skills
- Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months of hire
