BAYADA Home Health Care is in search of a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Hospice care. This role involves providing essential nursing services to clients in need of palliative support.

Position Overview

Incentives: A retention bonus of $10,000 is available for full-time hospice RNs.

About the Role: As a full-time Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides home-based hospice services to clients in various regions. Your role will include making home visits, administering medications, and offering comfort care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting home visits to clients within assigned territories.
  • Administering medications, performing wound care, and providing treatments as needed.
  • Monitoring client conditions and reporting any changes to the management team.
  • Executing and documenting physicians' orders accurately.
  • Performing assessments of clients as required.
  • Being available for occasional on-call duties during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont.
  • At least one year of recent clinical experience in a medical/surgical setting.
  • Experience in home care or hospice is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient computer skills, with prior experience in electronic medical records (EMR) being advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as assigned.
