The Life Safety Specialist works under direct supervision of the Aquatics Manager and is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the Aquatics unit, which include customer service, patron safety, pool maintenance, emergency procedures/evacuations, and daily safety checks of the swimming pools, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons
  • Maintaining pool facilities and equipment
  • Responding to emergencies and evacuations
  • Conducting daily safety checks

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • American Red Cross Advanced Life Saving Certificate
  • American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate
