We are in search of a highly driven, intelligent, and experienced professional to take on the role of Operational Due Diligence (ODD) Analyst. This position calls for an intrinsically motivated individual with a genuine desire to learn and the ability to tackle complex challenges, often under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational due diligence on hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and long-only investment vehicles.
  • Assist in assessing external investments with a focus on operational risks.
  • Engage with fund managers to collect pertinent due diligence data.
  • Review and evaluate financial, legal, and other relevant documents of funds.
  • Participate in onsite due diligence discussions with senior fund representatives.
  • Generate operational due diligence reports for comprehensive distribution.
  • Utilize technology to maintain manager-specific data and monitor due diligence metrics.
  • Contribute to research, asset allocation, and investment committee discussions.
  • Attend industry conferences and seminars to stay informed on market trends.
  • Conduct special projects to support investment teams.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Prior experience in operational due diligence or hedge fund operations/accounting is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with various financial instruments.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • CFA or CAIA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Capability to work in an office setting.
