Job Overview

The Risk Analyst role within the Risk Management Department at Emigrant Bank focuses on assisting the Chief Risk Officer with data evaluation, reporting, and documentation tasks. This position offers a comprehensive view of various risk factors and necessitates collaboration with multiple departments throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the formulation of policies and initiatives
  • Evaluate critical risk indicator data
  • Support intricate projects through fundamental project management activities
  • Document operational processes and initiatives
  • Perform risk evaluations
  • Generate risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the board
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • 2-4+ years of experience in financial institutions
  • Familiarity with regulations, internal controls, and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; advanced degree is advantageous
  • Professional certifications in risk management, auditing, or project management are beneficial
