Senior Registered Nurse Opportunity

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary

The Senior Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care delivery by the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care delivery by the healthcare team
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Evaluate patient responses and make adjustments to care plans as needed
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Two years of nursing experience
  • Current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Current healthcare provider BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
