Job SummaryThe Unit LNA provides supportive bedside nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. This role requires basic administrative and clerical activities to support the unit's operations and workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care observations, report any deviations from the patient's plan of care, and provide pertinent information to the registered nurse.
- Help with moving or lifting patients and equipment as needed.
- Maintain moderate knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school graduate or equivalent, or evidence of graduation within one year.
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting, preferably as an LNA, or secretarial/administrative experience.
You must also have the following licenses/certifications:
- A current Vermont State License.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Unit-specific certifications as required.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The salary range for this position is $19.29 - $28.50 per hour.
