Position Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the hotline, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, and maintaining consistency and accountability within the hotline supervisory team.

This position will manage 6-8 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Program Management

Implement program strategies to effectively meet the goals and objectives of the program, under the guidance of the Director:

  • Provide direct oversight of hotline supervisors, ensuring accountability, professional growth, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Lead the Reflective Supervision initiative, ensuring its consistent application across the program.
  • Conduct quality review assessments of hotline interactions and report findings against established benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with the supervisory team to ensure adherence to trauma-informed practices within both supervisory and counseling teams.
  • Work closely with the Hotline Operations Manager to guarantee that program activities align with Childhelp's policies and procedures.
  • Update clinical policies as directed by the Director.
  • Ensure program activities and contracts comply with all relevant laws, professional standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Partner with researchers to uphold clinical best practices.
  • Report pertinent information to the appropriate authorities when legally required.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in clinical supervision.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the laws and regulations pertaining to physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, child abuse, neglect, and legal reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with ethical guidelines and boundaries in counseling.
  • Knowledge of all Hotline referral sources, including the national resource database.
