Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Arizona Pain. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
    • Monitor day-to-day internal flow and physician relationships.
    • Assist in Pre-Op, PACU, and O.R.
    • Coordinate activity within the O.R. suite.
    • Maintain adherence to operating policy/procedure manuals.
  • Staffing and Scheduling
    • Monitor daily staffing of employees and assignments.
    • Responsible for performance evaluation of all clinical personnel.
  • Supply Chain and Logistics
    • Coordinate the provision and control of materials, supplies, and equipment.
    • Monitor payroll/ overtime
  • Quality and Safety
    • Oversee CMS accreditation compliance.
    • Manage Quality control and Infection control.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred to be able to perform all clinical roles within the ASC (Preop-PACU-Circulator)
    • Current Arizona Registered Nurse License
    • Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous experience as a DON in an ASC environment is required.
    • Outpatient and/or ambulatory surgery center experience and Operating Room experience is required.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
