POSITION SUMMARY: The Field Sales Representative is tasked with identifying new sales opportunities and finalizing sales to meet established quotas. This role is crucial for enhancing revenue and profitability by engaging with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and overseeing the sales of products and services.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project sales forecasts, devise innovative sales strategies/models, and assess their effectiveness.
  • Meet established sales targets and timelines. Research accounts and pursue sales leads.
  • Inform customers about the advantages of our services.
  • Present, advocate, and sell products/services using compelling arguments to both existing and potential customers.
  • Provide management with insights on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive landscape, and opportunities for new products and services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to uncover potential growth opportunities for the company.
  • Maintain and grow the client database within the designated territory.
  • Monitor competitive activity by collecting current market information on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, merchandising strategies, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales.
  • Preferred background in construction or equipment sales.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with various sales techniques and pipeline management.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven sales track record.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for creating and delivering presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Strong relationship management skills and receptiveness to feedback.
