Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Meat on Ocean, a premier oceanfront restaurant in Santa Monica. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take orders from guests and input them into the point-of-sale system
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer to guests
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Open wine and champagne bottles for guests
  • Make coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages
  • Present guest checks and process payments
  • Collect and report tips at the end of the shift
Requirements
  • Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • 5 years of experience as a restaurant bartender in a similar volume with a craft/classic cocktail program
  • High school graduate, some college
  • Current CA Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Ability to maintain complete knowledge of the bartender steps of service and KSC standards
