About the Role

Murray Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Director to lead our commercial growth efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate contracts to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales revenue, customer acquisition costs, and customer retention rates, to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Proficient in using sales software, CRM systems, and other business tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed business decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
