Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst is tasked with contributing to the design and execution of a unified Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework along with all associated analytics. This role encompasses supporting a standardized reporting methodology for supply chain activities, including demand and supply forecasting as well as production planning comparisons. The analyst will engage with internal stakeholders across various locations, fostering a cohesive working environment. By collaborating across different sites, the analyst will consolidate and scrutinize diverse data sets to establish unified objectives and requirements, while prioritizing the performance of GridBridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data mining methodologies, SQL programming, and relational databases to effectively analyze and manage data.
  • Develop content for regular meetings, including Demand Consensus, Supply Consensus, and Operations Consensus.
  • Proactively gather data from stakeholders across supply chain functions and locations, consolidating various data sources to create enterprise-level analytics.
  • Lead and conduct both internal and external data analyses, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners, such as site supply chain leads, sales, finance, engineering, and operations, to gather and analyze business requirements, promoting a unified approach across the enterprise.
  • Support the development, collection, maintenance, and presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee S&OP performance reporting and manage vendor communications regarding performance metrics.
  • Manage the reporting of internal supply chain performance metrics, utilizing analytics to support recommendations.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, finance, or supply chain management.
  • Preferred certifications include ISM or APICS.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of analytical experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory control, materials planning, or financial environments.
  • Proficiency in data mining techniques, SQL programming, and relational databases.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-site, and multi-ERP environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Sales and Operations Planning practices is advantageous.
  • Experience with business systems and/or ERP implementation is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS, and Outlook.
  • Analytical skills essential for supporting and enhancing supply chain strategies and objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to objectively analyze and interpret significant themes from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Capability to build strategic relationships and influence across various functions and levels, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in delivering presentations to management and internal teams.
  • Understanding of inventory management, warehousing, supply planning, and demand planning functions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Cost Analysis, and Cost Accounting practices is preferred.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
